Here at The Fabric Affair, we believe learning new skills and techniques help to build your skills as a seamstress. We offer many classes. While there are sewing machine classes that are strictly for Pfaff machine owners, the other classes are open to anyone interested. Perhaps you'll find something you would like to try!

Sewing Machine and Serger Classes

When you buy a sewing machine or serger at The Fabric Affair, you don't just buy a machine - you buy the knowledge and support of the store staff as well. Included in the purchase price of the machine is a series of classes designed to familiarize you with the many features that these sewing machines have. You will learn basic maintenance, operation, and trouble-shooting on your machine. We will share several tips on sewing techniques and learn about specialty feet and other notions that will make sewing a breeze! Best of all, you can take and re-take these classes as many times as you like for as long as you own your machine.

The Fine Print:

You must pre-register for all classes
50% deposit must be made at time of registration - this may be done by mail or by credit card over the phone
Enrollment cancelled less than seven days in advance will receive a refund in the form of store credit.
On Fitting classes, the ENTIRE fee must be received no later than seven days in advance.
Minimum number in class is four. Please sign up as early as possible to keep classes from being cancelled.
Only Pfaff sewing machines and sergers will be accepted in the machine instruction classes.
In consideration of others in class, cell phones should be turned off during classes.
