Joy Lambert, the designer behind "The Joy of Stitching," is providing three free samples to download and stitch out in the hope that you will be impressed with the quality of the digitized designs and choose to purchase one of the "Joy of Stitching" design suites available for sale exclusively at The Fabric Affair. A unique aspect of Joy's designs is the fact that the collections are designed to take advantage of the large stitching surface area that using the giant 12" hoop by "Hoop it All".

Design Suites available include:

Each design suite includes a giant 9" square design, comprised of several smaller design files.
How To" directions are included in each package for stitching out these 9" designs using the giant 12" Hoop-It-All hoop. While the designs can also be stitched out using Pfaff hoops, they are more easily placed with just one hooping of the fabric in the giant "Hoop it All."

In addition to the 9" designs for the big hoop, each design package includes several smaller designs suitable for the regular Pfaff 120mm hoop. The Iris Empress design suite also includes a large 6" square design, comprised of three design files. This large iris design can also be stitched out in one hooping of the fabric if you use the giant 12" Hoop-It-All.

You are welcome to download these designs for your own personal use only. You may even stitch the designs out on items that you plan to give as gifts or sell; however you may NOT sell or redistribute the design files in any way.

These files will download as individual ZIP files. That means that when you click on the "download" link, you will get a prompt to either "open" or "save to disk." We recommend the "save to disk" selection. Be sure to make a note of the file location that it saves to, so you can find it later. You will also need an "unzip" utility to open them.

The designs were created in Pfaff (.pcs) format. If you are not using Pfaff PCDesigner software , you will probably need to convert the file to your machine format using a utility such as BuzzTools.

Drop Joy a note and let her know how much you enjoy these designs. She hopes that you will have as much fun thinking up projects to use them on as she did creating them. You might also want to look at the quilt she designed using both the Daisy Crazy and Iris Empress design suites.
